Before you begin generating sizzle reels, ensure your account is configured with the necessary assets and content.
Assets
Upload your transcript-based videos to your centralized assets library.
Navigate to Assets in your workspace
Click "+ Add Assets" and select a collection or create a new one (optional but recommended)
Upload your videos (up to 10GB each) or import directly from your DAM
Tip
Tip
You can also add the videos to your asset library directly from the chat interface. Just click on the paperclip icon, navigate to the Videos tab, and click ‘Upload’. Here, you can choose the relevant file to upload to your asset library.
Keep this in mind when uploading your videos to asset library:
Videos must include a transcript
Use videos that have voice audio in English language
Clear speech with minimal background noise
Any length supported (as long as file size is under 10GB)
Creating a sizzle reel from existing videos
Create event recaps, "year in reviews," highlight reels, and brand stories, all in minutes.
Here’s how:
1. Click the paperclip icon in chat to select videos from your asset library.
You can attach multiple videos to create a reel that pulls from multiple sources.
Tip
Tip
When working with multiple videos, ensure they cover related topics or themes. Video Agent will analyze all transcripts to find the most relevant moments that support your stated goal.
2. Enter a prompt describing what you want to create.
Example prompts:
"Create a 60-second sizzle reel focused on 'AI and the Future of Work' using the two attached interviews. Highlight quotes and end with an insight about workplace transformation."
"Make a 30-second sizzle reel teaser for our upcoming webinar series using clips from these three customer interviews. Focus on pain points and transformation stories."
Video Agent may ask you to confirm the type of sizzle reel you want to create (fast-paced or speaker-focused), its objective, and the desired duration.
3. Video Agent analyzes the transcripts from all attached videos and generates a scene-by-scene outline directly in chat, where you can iteratively refine it.
Change the order of scenes, request different scenes, or modify the overall structure just by typing simple prompts.
4. Once you're satisfied with the outline, confirm to start the video generation. The agent will extract the specified clips from your source videos and compile everything into a polished sizzle reel.
Editing your generated sizzle reel
After generation, you can click on your generated video and enter Focus Mode to access the clip editor.
Here, you’ll find two different modes for editing the generated sizzle video:
Storyboard: A high-level view that displays your video as individual scene blocks. Perfect for quick changes like reordering scenes, replacing clips, or making broad adjustments to your narrative flow through transcript-based edits.
Timeline: An advanced editing interface that gives you frame-by-frame control over timing, transitions, audio, and effects. Ideal for precision editing and fine-tuning details.
You can switch between modes at any time depending on what edits you need to make.
What you can do in Storyboard mode:
Reorder scenes: Drag and drop scene blocks to restructure your narrative
Replace scenes: Click any scene to swap it with a different clip from your asset library
Delete scenes: Remove scenes that don't fit the final cut
Add new scenes: Insert additional moments from your source footage
Edit scenes: Open the Transcript tab on the left. This view shows the full transcript for each scene, making it easy to identify the exact moment you want to include/exclude and ensure scenes flow naturally from one to the next
What you can do in Timeline mode:
Video trimming: Adjust scene in/out points down to individual frames
Layer management: Control video tracks, audio tracks, and text overlay layers independently
Audio mixing: Adjust volume curves or add/change background music. You can also separate speech from background music directly in the editor to get cleaner voice tracks and better audio control within the timeline.
[Coming soon] Automatic soundtrack extraction to align a single, consistent soundtrack across the entire reel
Add transitions: Add transitions from the pre-set transition library or generate a custom transition using a prompt.
You can also generate a title scene as a transition between clips. Based on your prompt, AI creates a title card introducing the next scene.
Generating variations
Automatically resize your clips for different platforms like Instagram and YouTube. No need to rebuild edits manually.
To create variations:
1. Click on the “Variations” option in the toolbar and then click “Resize”
2. Select your preferred output dimension
3. Click Generate to create the resized version
Exporting content
When your sizzle reel is finalized, click the download button in the toolbar.
Exporting individual scenes
You can also export any scene in your sizzle reel to canvas as a standalone clip. To export a scene:
Select the scene in storyboard view
Click "Add to Canvas"
3. The scene opens as a new asset you can edit independently and download
Share or collaborate
You can also invite collaborators to review or customize videos directly. This makes it easy to gather feedback and iterate as a team.

FAQs
Who is this feature designed for?
This workflow is ideal for marketing teams, social media managers, and video editors who work with long-form video content. It allows users to quickly curate relevant moments from their footage library without manual scrubbing.
What types of videos are supported?
Transcript-based videos up to 10GB each, including:
Webinars and virtual events
One-on-one or panel interviews
Keynote presentations
Town halls and internal meetings
Customer testimonials and case studies
Can I use videos from different events or sources?
Yes! One of the key advantages of this workflow is the ability to combine clips from multiple videos. As long as the videos share a common theme or topic, Video Agent will analyze all transcripts and create a cohesive narrative.
Can I add my own video clips to a generated sizzle reel?
Yes. After generation, you can add new scenes from any video in your asset library or upload additional clips directly into the timeline editor.
What's the maximum length for a sizzle reel?
While you can technically create videos of any length, sizzle reels are most effective at 30-90 seconds.
Can I remove or mute background audio from scenes?
Yes. The audio controls allow you to adjust volume levels per scene or mute scenes entirely. The upcoming ‘Generate music’ feature will make it easy to replace all original audio with a consistent background track.
Can I download just one scene instead of the whole video?
Absolutely. Use the "Export to Canvas" feature to extract any individual scene as a standalone clip. You can then download or further edit that scene independently.
